New Year Kicks off with Annual Business Meeting

Members old and new gathered on January 16 to make plans for the Modesto Camera Club's Year of 2012. Much was accomplished or planned to be accomplished in this annual gathering: 

• Challenge categories for our monthly competitions were  chosen and scheduled, the result which is posted under Calendar. 
• It was decided to leave the pictorial category unchanged for the year after considering a proposal to split it into two divisions: one for straight traditional shots, and one allowing digital enhancement. 
• Plans were set for some program nights while others are a work in progress.
• Jobs and duties were filled by willing volunteers
• A report of the finances was given
• Field trips were discussed.
